Job summary

Palisades Tahoe is seeking a Segment Head Coach for the All Mountain Club to oversee a defined age segment within Team Palisades Tahoe. This role partners with the Department or Age Class Manager to drive athlete and staff success and a positive experience for families and participants.

The position supports the All Mountain Club pilot program for athletes aged 10–14, offering exposure to all mountain terrain and a balanced skiing education, with a focus on development over competition.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required/up to date.
• Fluent reading/writing/speaking English.
• US Ski & Snowboard Certification or PSIA/AASI or IFSA or equivalent.
• Prior coaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a specific segment of a department discipline and ensure program quality.
• Supervise staff time and attendance and coordinate with other coaches.
• Develop annual training plans with the Manager and Head Coaches.
• Ensure athlete management programs are implemented and monitored.
• Stay informed on industry trends and seek feedback from athletes, parents, staff.
