Job summary

Palisades Tahoe is seeking a Seasonal Ski & Snowboard Team Segment Head Coach to oversee a specific age class within Team Palisades Tahoe. You will work with a Manager and other Head Coaches to support athlete development and ensure program quality.

You will lead with professionalism, contribute to annual training plans, supervise staff, and ensure programs align with our mission and guest experience standards, including the All Mountain Club pilot for 10–14 year-olds.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Fluent in reading, writing and speaking English.
US Ski & Snowboard Certification (PSIA/AASI or IFSA or equivalent) required.
Prior coaching experience required.
Supervisory experience preferred.
Level 2/200 or higher skiing certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversee and implement a specific segment or sub-segment of a department discipline and/or age class.
Assist in supervising staff time and attendance.
Contribute to team athletic processes and philosophies.
Develop annual training plans with the Manager and other Head Coaches.
Ensure athlete management programs are in place and overseen.
Stay informed on industry trends and seek feedback from athletes, parents, staff and company personnel.
Support the mission, vision, and goals of all program aspects, including Alterra.
Understand and execute the Department Operating Plan and Guest Experience System.
Maintain on-hill presence with daily programming and planning with the Manager.
Participate in staff training and meetings as required.
