Job summary

DePaul University in Chicago seeks a Sr. CMS Operations Specialist to oversee Sitecore CMS operations, workflow management, and digital production across the university's web ecosystem.

You will guide enterprise web governance and optimize content workflows while collaborating with IS, UX, and marketing teams. The role combines advanced Sitecore expertise with project management and customer consulting to ensure timely delivery of enhancements, migrations, SEO, and accessibility improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Information Systems or related field.
• 5+ years hands-on experience administering and managing websites within a native Sitecore CMS environment.
• Experience managing enterprise CMS operations and large-scale website initiatives.
• Experience with JIRA and enterprise CMS operations.
• Experience collaborating with developers, UX designers and cross-functional digital teams.
• Experience with information architecture, SEO, accessibility and web governance.
• Strong analytical skills using Google Analytics or comparable web analytics platforms.
• Experience developing CMS documentation, training and best practices for distributed content authors and internal teams
• Excellent project management, organizational and customer relationship management skills

Responsibilities

• Lead CMS Operations & Workflow Management for Sitecore, prioritizing web requests and ensuring timely delivery.
• Sitecore Administration & Enterprise Website Management including migrations and page development.
• Consult on content strategy, IA, SEO, accessibility, and UX best practices.
• Provide training, governance, and continuous improvement for CMS users and DXA team.
