Job summary

Amazon Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Site Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) Manager to partner with site operations, execute WHS policies, and ensure compliance with local and regional regulations.

You will lead continuous improvement to reduce risk, mentor safety teams, and influence leadership across cross-functional teams. You will develop leadership bench strength, conduct risk assessments and safety data analysis, and roll out safety standards across sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 7+ years leading safety and/or environmental programs in manufacturing, production, or service operations.
• 7+ years of increasing responsibilities in people and performance management.
• Experience implementing lean principles and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME of local/regional regulations and company WHS policy.
• Provide guidance to ensure compliance with safety policies.
• Measure site performance against safety policy requirements.
• Ensure safety record keeping and data integrity for reporting.
• Deliver on-time and quality safety projects to Operations.
• Lead Kaizen events and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage and mentor Safety Managers and Safety Associates.
