Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Site Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) Manager to partner with site operations, implement WHS policies, and ensure regulatory compliance. Lead a team of safety professionals, drive continuous improvement through Kaizen, and develop leadership across the site to sustain a safe working environment for associates.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree
• 7+ years of increasing responsibilities in safety and/or environmental programs in manufacturing, production, or service operations, or relevant experience applicable to the role
• 7+ years of increasing responsibilities in people and performance management
• Experience implementing lean principles and process improvement in an operational environment
• Willingness to work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends, as required to support direct reports and site needs

Aufgaben

• Act as SME of local/regional regulations and company WHS policy.
• Provide guidance and oversight to ensure compliance to all applicable Amazon Safety Policies.
• Measure site performance against published requirements in safety policies; identify a plan to fix deficiencies.
• Ensure safety record keeping and data integrity with accurate reporting and metrics.
• Deliver on-time and quality projects to Operations.
• Deep-dive safety metrics and review incident trends to justify resource allocation.
• Audit record-keeping practices and Global Safety Database entries for compliance.
• Audit workplace organization and Associate behaviors for training and scoring consistency.
• Manage and mentor Safety Managers and Safety Associates at the site.
• Engage IPS and Site Leadership to drive long-term strategic actions to reduce incidents.
• Perform targeted Kaizen events with Operations teams based on risk.
• Ensure leadership and associates are trained on policy responsibilities.
• Audit the quality and effectiveness of safety training.
