Job summary

ACET is seeking a Site Supervisor/Program Manager for F/A-18 E/F maintenance to lead the O-level maintenance for the VFC-12 squadron at NAS Oceana. The role requires 8–10+ years in military/defense aviation with PM experience and an active DoD secret clearance.

The successful candidate will manage a 50+ team, ensure compliance with NAMP and NAVWAR directives, and coordinate with CNAFR and squadron leadership to sustain maximum aircraft readiness.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years in military/defense aviation maintenance with 5+ years in supervisory or PM role
• Deep technical familiarity with F/A-18E/F platforms and O-level maintenance architectures
• Active DoD Secret Clearance and NAS Oceana access credentials
• Proficient with Naval Aviation databases (NALCOMIS OOMA, DECKPLATE, AMSRR) and MS Office
• Reading aerospace electrical diagrams, wiring, MRCs and TDs

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate a multi-disciplinary team of 50+ personnel per PWS
• Oversee daily launch, recovery, phase checks, and O-level maintenance to meet flight schedule
• Serve as SME to CNAFR and squadron leadership on logistics and structural issues
• Enforce NAMP and directives to guarantee maintenance integrity
• Enter maintenance actions and supply constraints into naval systems (NALCOMIS OOMA, DECKPLATE, AMSRR)
• Develop long-range maintenance plans and resource timelines
• Manage flight-line initiatives like FOD prevention and TCP
• Track budgets, analyze material usage, and sign off on labor accounting
