Sterling St James Inc. is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead on-site operations from project start to completion. You will manage subcontractors, coordinate activities, enforce safety standards, and ensure projects meet schedule and budget.

Responsibilities include daily site management, scheduling, quality control, and clear communication with project managers, inspectors, and clients. Strong leadership and OSHA 30 certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a Construction Superintendent or similar role.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Proven experience managing subcontractors and job-site personnel.
• OSHA 30 certification (or ability to obtain) and a valid driver’s license.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily on-site construction activities and coordinate site operations.
• Schedule and manage subcontractors, labor, and materials to maintain progress.
• Enforce safety rules per company policies, OSHA, and site regulations.
• Communicate with project managers, inspectors, and clients to resolve issues.
• Maintain daily logs, progress reports, and documentation for turnover.
