Job summary

Facility Services Management Inc. is seeking a Construction Site Superintendent to plan, direct, and coordinate designated projects within time and budget constraints. You will oversee site safety, quality control, and subcontractor coordination on healthcare facility builds.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years supervising construction sites, strong communication, blueprint literacy, and proven ability to manage budgets and schedules. On-site work is required with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 4–10 years related quality control experience and/or training.
• 5+ years of general construction site supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of Building Codes and requirements.
• Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and techniques.
• Ability to build strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Enforce Project-Specific Safety Plan and OSHA policies.
• Maintain schedules,critical paths, budgets for each construction project.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Read blueprints and understand designs.

Responsibilities

• Support project from kick-off to completion.
• Responsible for site quality control and safety management.
• Enforce project safety plan and OSHA policies.
• Ensure proper material management and handling.
• Review and approve SOW and pricing.
• Manage subcontractors, vendors, and staff.
• Attend on-site meetings and represent the company.
• Maintain schedules, critical paths, and project budgets.
• Provide status reports to managers and team members.
• Develop on-site procedures from contracts and plans.
• Create inspection criteria and execution procedures.
• Direct and coordinate project personnel to progress on schedule.
• Perform quality control testing per contract and best practices.
• Review status reports and adjust schedules as needed.
