Job summary

Mavin Construction LLC seeks a Healthcare Superintendent to lead construction and remodeling of healthcare facilities on active campuses. You will supervise subcontractors and craft workers, coordinate with the Project Manager, and ensure safety, quality, and adherence to budgets.

The role demands hospital-site experience, blueprints literacy, and a strong emphasis on infection control and regulatory compliance. This is a salaried, on-site leadership position.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years construction experience with at least 3 years as a Healthcare Superintendent.
• Capable of working in a campus environment and around patient activity in an active hospital setting.
• Read blueprints and specifications and perform advanced layout.
• Infection control measures (negative pressure setup, maintenance and monitoring).
• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.
• Excellent writing, communication and interpersonal skills.
• OSHA 30 Certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams onsite to supervise subcontractors, foremen and craft workers.
• Coordinate and schedule activities to meet budget and timeline requirements.
• Maintain safety, quality, and regulatory compliance on site.
• Attend internal meetings and maintain running issue logs.
• Pre-task planning, daily reports, and safety inspections.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers and owner representatives.
