Job summary

PNC Financial Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineering Group Manager for the SRC‑Site Reliability organization.

You will lead production support, drive reliability improvements, and collaborate with applications, infrastructure, and security teams across multiple geographies. The role requires managing complex incidents, shaping proactive reliability practices, and mentoring engineers while coordinating with vendor partners.

Qualifications

• Roles at this level typically require a university/college degree.
• Higher level education such as a Masters degree, PhD, or certifications is desirable.
• Industry‑relevant experience is typically 8+ years.
• At least 5 years of prior management experience is typically required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership in production support; serve as an escalation point for complex production issues; guide troubleshooting across applications, infrastructure, databases, middleware and integrations; ensure efficient log, metric, and system analysis; oversee monitoring and recovery processes; foster collaboration across teams.
• Provide after‑hours operational leadership and on‑call support; participate in an on‑call rotation for critical services and incidents; may require availability outside standard hours.
