Job summary

Climavision is hiring a Senior Site Reliability Engineer for a fully remote role in the United States. You will own production reliability across Azure, colocation, and edge Kubernetes environments, building the observability layer, automations, and self-healing capabilities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years in Site Reliability Engineering/DevOps roles, with 4+ years in SRE/title-focused work.
Deep, hands-on experience operating native Kubernetes (self-managed preferred).
Experience optimizing Kubernetes clusters and reducing infra costs without sacrificing reliability.
Experience building dashboards, metrics pipelines, and alerting for observability.
Experience designing workloads for safe horizontal scaling across multiple replicas and clusters.
Experience supporting customer-facing production systems with uptime and incident response responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Own production reliability for customer-facing platforms across multi-cluster Kubernetes environments.
Contribute to SLIs, SLOs, alerting standards, and operational metrics.
Build and own observability layer and dashboards for the fleet; implement auto-healing and recovery.
Optimize resource usage and migrate workloads to reduce cloud spend.
Lead incident response and postmortem analysis with blameless culture.
Design multi-cluster high-availability architectures and traffic routing strategies.
Maintain deployment pipelines, Helm charts, and infrastructure automation.
Collaborate with software engineering teams to improve production readiness and reliability.
