Job summary

Kong is seeking a Senior SRE for Managed Gateways to lead reliability engineering for our fastest-growing SaaS product. You will own the end-to-end operational lifecycle, drive incident response, and ensure platform resilience across AWS, GCP, and Azure.

You will mentor a team of SREs, implement automation and self-service tooling, and collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to deliver enterprise-ready cloud gateways.

Qualifications

• Senior SRE with enterprise-scale experience preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Kubernetes and cloud-native architectures.
• Proven ability to design, build, and run highly available multi-cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own production reliability for Kong's Managed Gateways platform.
• Architect, implement, and maintain scalable cloud-native systems.
• Lead incident response and blameless post-mortems.
