DraftKings Inc. is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to build and scale Kubernetes infrastructure across public clouds and on‑prem environments.

You will design automation‑first solutions, improve reliability, and influence architectural decisions to support rapid, safe delivery of services. You will own scaling strategies with Karpenter, HPA, KEDA, and GitOps tooling (Rancher Fleet, Flux, Helm), while collaborating with platform and application teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computing.
• 4+ years managing distributed cloud and on‑prem environments at scale.
• Deep Kubernetes expertise with Go or Python for automation.
• Strong networking and Linux-based systems knowledge including container runtimes.

Responsibilities

• Drive stability, performance, and scalability across global compute platform in multi-cloud and on‑prem environments.
• Build self-healing, fault-tolerant infrastructure and automation tooling to reduce toil.
• Operate and evolve GitOps delivery with Rancher Fleet, Flux, and Helm for consistent deployments.
• Define and monitor reliability metrics and participate in on-call rotations.
