Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
7+ years of Site Reliability Engineering experience.
Experience defining and operationalizing SLOs/SLIs and error budgets.
Strong observability with Datadog (dashboards, monitors, reports).
Ability to connect reliability objectives to end-user outcomes.
Proven influence across engineering teams and stakeholders.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Cloud and on-prem environments including AWS, Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

Lead and mature the SLO development process across Infrastructure Engineering.
Design and implement SLOs, indicators, targets, and error budget policies.
Review and refine reliability objectives in line with customer impact and priorities.
Translate reliability targets to application/platform experiences with measurable dependencies.
Build reporting processes and tooling for reliability across components.
Influence practices through mentoring and collaboration with partners.
Differentiate meaningful degradation from downtime using measurement strategies.
