Job summary

London Stock Exchange Group in the United States is seeking Site Reliability Engineers to join the Real Time application space, responsible for owning operational support, driving cloud migrations, and automating tasks to ensure a highly available, low-latency trading data platform.

Qualifications

• Extensive UNIX administration and scripting experience.
• Cloud-native applications on AWS or Azure experience.
• Strong networking knowledge (TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS) with real-time/low-latency exposure a plus.
• Proficiency in Kubernetes, Docker, and containerized applications.
• Proven troubleshooting of large distributed systems; market data experience is a plus.
• Observability tooling experience (DataDog, BigPanda) desirable.
• Git version control proficiency.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field; 8+ years of industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead Incident Recovery: direct recovery, triage, and coordinate actions.
• Incident Reporting and Customer Advocacy: detailed incident reports and post-incident reviews.
• Production Environment Stability: safely deliver changes and assess deployment risks.
• Operational Process Improvement: automate processes and reduce false alerts.
• Subject Matter Expertise: develop expertise in dataflows and networking topologies.
• Collaboration with Development Teams: prioritize improvements with product backlog.
• Project Intake and Delivery: act as SRE contact for new projects and lead Game Day activities.
