Job summary

Comcast Technology Solutions seeks an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to own cloud infrastructure, system reliability, and observability for the Freewheel BuyerCloud and Revenue Science teams. You will work on AWS and Kubernetes across multiple regions with IaC practices.

The role emphasizes designing scalable, highly available services, developing automation, and contributing to incident resolution and documentation for reliable operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years designing and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.
• 3+ years admin experience with Linux, AWS, and Kubernetes.
• 3+ years experience with CloudFormation, Terraform, and Ansible.
• 3+ years coding in Python, Java, or C++.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Education degree preferred, but relevant coursework/experience considered.
• Certifications such as AWS or Kubernetes beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable, reliable infrastructure solutions.
• Write IaC, CM, and automation scripts.
• Enhance observability and alerting.
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident escalation.
• Write system docs, runbooks, and playbooks.
• Other duties as assigned.
