Job summary

FORT is hiring a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to build and maintain the environments that power a cloud-first SaaS platform. You will collaborate with software engineers and technical teams to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable infrastructure.

This hands-on role emphasizes automation, resilience, and ongoing evolution of the platform, with a focus on supporting customers globally and maintaining high availability.

Qualifications

• Kubernetes and container technologies.
• Experience in Linux and Windows environments.
• Commercial cloud experience (AWS/Azure/GCP/Oracle).
• Scripting in PowerShell and/or Bash.
• Proficiency with CI/CD and config management (Jenkins, Helm, Ansible).
• Knowledge of relational DBs including Oracle/SQL Server.
• Proactive automation and reliability focus.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and support cloud-hosted environments.
• Monitor platform health; implement alerting and self-healing.
• Manage Kubernetes environments and containerised workloads.
• Troubleshoot infra and application issues with development teams.
• Design scalable infrastructure to support future growth.
• Maintain technical docs and architecture diagrams.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices.
• Drive continuous improvements across infra and deployment processes.
