Base pay range

$140,000.00/yr - $160,000.00/yr

Job Title: Site Reliability Engineer (Azure DevOps Environment)

Location: 100% Remote (EST and CST)

W2 or C2C

US Citizen Only (no 3rd parties)

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or similar field.
  • +5 years experience as a site reliability engineer or similar role.
  • Experience with Kubernetes deployment (expert) tools like Helm, ArgoCD, Flux
  • +7 years of experience working with cloud-native infrastructure, such as Azure Cloud Services. Candidates heavily experienced in AWS will not be considered.
  • Expertise with AKS/Kubernetes (K8) containers and deployment is required.
  • Extensive experience working in Azure Cloud Services.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Pulumi.
  • Knowledge of Encryption, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), understanding of OWASP.
  • Experience working with RESTful services.
  • Experience with monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Splunk, Dynatrace, Grafana, Prometheus).
  • Impeccable creative and communication skills.
  • Ability to problem solve in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.

Job Duties:

  • Build, maintain, and operate IaaS and PaaS infrastructure in Azure commercial and government clouds.
  • Work closely with development teams to identify and measure SLOs, SLAs, and SLIs.
  • Contribute to the development of platform services including architecture, provisioning, configuration, deployment, and support.
  • Perform integrations with central logging, metrics dashboards, instrumentation, incident monitoring, and management.
  • Build, integrate, and administer systems and tools that enable engineering teams to observe their applications in production with autonomy (Dashboards, APMs).
