Senior Site Reliability Engineer - 2289298

Optum Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer located at 1 Optum Circle, Eden Prairie, MN 55344. Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the U.S.

Responsibilities include:

• Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs.
• Ensure stability, scalability, capacity, and performance of customer-facing, mission-critical platforms.
• Participate in all phases of the development lifecycle: ideation, development, deployment, operationalization, and enhancement.
• Guide new platforms and functionalities through development, serving as a design and architecture advisor, and support capacity planning, cost analysis, and operationalization.
• Lead operational aspects for new platforms, monitor for availability, functionality, capacity, and performance, and resolve issues.
• Drive automation, reduce operational toil, and enhance system stability.
• Manage incident response, conduct blameless root cause analysis, and drive positive outcomes.

Minimum Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Two years of experience in software development, scripting languages (PowerShell, Java, Python, Camunda), cloud and infrastructure tools (Azure, Terraform, ArgoCD, Postgres, Snowflake, MongoDB), tiered applications, middleware, database systems, automation, and network design.

Compensation: $103,605 - $191,502 per year.
