We are looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to play a fundamental role within our team and elevate Gelato!

Responsibilities

1. Maintain and operate Gelato infrastructure in a multi-cloud environment.
2. Improve our incident management lifecycle for overall reliability.
3. Enhance our postmortem philosophy.
4. Contribute to our DevOps culture.
5. Deploy and maintain Rollups-as-a-Service (RaaS) core components and observability stacks.
6. Evaluate and modernize our infrastructure and deployment strategies to align with industry standards.
7. Maintain and improve our CI/CD pipeline and governance.
8. Participate in on-call rotations to provide operational support and ensure service availability.
9. Participate in and facilitate team meetings.
10. Provide insights on system design and scalability, focusing on reliability, security, and efficiency in a Web3 context.
11. Seek cost-effective, innovative solutions and promote industry standards adoption.

Minimum Requirements

1. At least 4 years of experience maintaining cloud infrastructure with modern technologies.
2. At least 1 year of experience maintaining Web3-related infrastructure.
3. Strong understanding of GitOps principles.
4. Ability to lead and positively influence peers in decision-making.
5. Ability to maintain high performance and accuracy in rapidly changing environments.
6. Experience operating infrastructure on major cloud providers (GCP, AWS, Azure).
7. Experience with Docker and containerized applications.
8. Experience with Unix-based systems.
9. Experience operating and optimizing Kubernetes clusters.
10. Proficiency with Git, Helm, Terraform, Kubectl, and similar tools.
11. Knowledge of networking, CDN, gateways, and deployment strategies.
12. Experience operating highly available infrastructure.
13. Understanding of microservice architecture and operations.
14. Experience with debugging, logging, monitoring, and alerting tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, Datadog.
15. Experience implementing cost-optimized solutions.
16. Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Go, Python, Rust, PHP, TypeScript) with software development capabilities.
17. Understanding of Web3 technologies and challenges, including RaaS.
18. Eagerness to learn and grow professionally.
