About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our team. The role involves:

  1. Researching, designing, and developing computer and network software or specialized utility programs.
  2. Ensuring the stability, scalability, capacity, and performance of customer-facing, mission-critical platforms.
  3. Participating in the entire development lifecycle: ideation, development, deployment, operationalization, and enhancement.
  4. Guiding new platforms and functionalities through development, serving as a design and architecture advisor, and providing platform support, capacity planning, and operationalization.
  5. Assuming operational leadership prior to general release.
  6. Monitoring system availability, functionality, capacity, and performance; identifying and resolving problems; managing change and release processes.
  7. Driving scalability, automation, and stability improvements.
  8. Handling incident response, conducting blameless root cause analysis, and driving positive outcomes.

This position offers telecommuting options from anywhere in the U.S.

Requirements

Candidates should have:

  • A Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • At least two years of experience in:
    • Software development, scripting languages (PowerShell, Java, Python), and workflow tools like Camunda.
    • Cloud, infrastructure, deployment, and database tools including Azure, Terraform, ArgoCD, Postgres, Snowflake, and MongoDB.
    • Tiered applications, middleware, database systems, and supporting components in virtual and cloud environments.
    • Software development, systems automation, scripting, or network design.
    • Optimizing platform architectures and automating routine tasks.
    • Debugging and scripting or coding for optimization.
Compensation

Salary ranges from $103,605 to $191,502 annually.
