Job summary

Symmetrio is seeking a Sr. Site Planner to coordinate design and installation of proton therapy systems for hospitals and cancer centers.

This full-time hybrid role sits at the intersection of engineering, architecture, and construction, acting as the technical liaison from feasibility to installation oversight. You will align site designs with system requirements and applicable regulations while collaborating with sales and project teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in site planning or architectural/engineering coordination for complex capital equipment or infra projects.
• Experience coordinating facility systems including high-voltage electrical, HVAC, structural, IT infra.
• Ability to translate engineering requirements into site, architectural, and infrastructure criteria.

Responsibilities

• Lead site planning and installation activities for proton therapy systems and related product platforms.
• Serve as the technical liaison for architects, engineers, and design teams from feasibility through construction documentation.
• Partner with Sales to evaluate sites, assess infrastructure readiness, and support feasibility studies.
• Develop and review site layouts, equipment plans, drawings, and technical docs through schematic to construction phases.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, controls, shielding, and other teams to integrate system requirements into facility designs.
• Identify design conflicts, site constraints, compliance concerns, and risks, resolving issues before installation.
• Conduct customer site visits and inspections to verify design requirements and recommend corrective actions.
• Participate in coordination meetings with customers, architects, engineers, contractors, Sales, and project teams.
• Develop and maintain site planning guides, drawing standards, installation requirements, templates, and tools.
• Support the transition from Site Planning to Project Execution with technical guidance.
