Job summary

Rubber Fab, part of Enpro, seeks an Operations Leader to own daily operations at a critical multi-function site in New Jersey. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering or a related field or equivalent experience.
• Progressive leadership experience managing daily operations in a multi-function environment.
• Demonstrated ability to set operating priorities and drive timely execution across functions.
• Strong floor-level leadership skills with visibility and accountability.
• Business acumen linking daily decisions to customer needs, cost, quality and delivery.
• Experience using daily management routines, metrics and structured problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Direct the site’s daily operating activities across Supply Chain, Project Engineering, Quality, and Warehouse functions.
• Set daily priorities, assign ownership, coordinate staffing and resources, and ensure teams understand operational expectations and commitments.
• Partner with Sales and Engineering to drive Continuous Improvement, Growth and Customer Satisfaction.
• Lead daily management meetings and operating reviews to assess safety, quality, delivery, backlog, productivity and risks.
• Maintain visible floor-level leadership, engaging with employees to ensure safe and efficient progress.
• Monitor workflow from order entry through fulfillment, address constraints, protect customer service and delivery performance.
• Resolve day-to-day problems by coordinating actions across commercial, engineering, quality, supply chain and warehouse teams.
• Track site performance with metrics, hold owners accountable and elevate significant risks when needed.
• Ensure staffing, coverage, training and cross-functional support for changing workloads.
• Coach leaders and employees on execution, accountability and standardized work.
