Job summary

Abbott is seeking a senior manufacturing leader to oversee technical and operational functions within the Heart Failure manufacturing unit in Pleasanton. You will drive strategic goals, lead engineering and operations teams, and utilize Lean and Six Sigma to improve quality, delivery, cost, and product supply performance.

You will recruit and coach talent, coordinate across functions, and ensure compliance with FDA regulations and GMP requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Life Sciences, or related field.
• Significant experience in FDA-regulated manufacturing environments leading engineering and operations organizations.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing activities across product lines and shifts.
• Drive Lean, Six Sigma, root cause analysis for quality, delivery, cost, and compliance.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing systems, procedures, and controls.
• Coordinate with R&D, Quality, Regulatory, and Supply Chain for new product introductions and transfers.
