Job summary

Abbott Laboratories in Los Angeles is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead a production area within our Cardiac Rhythm Technologies operations. You will drive safety, quality, on-time delivery, and cost, while managing staff and Lean initiatives.

You will coach teams, maintain CAPA and QMS compliance, and collaborate across functions to improve performance in a highly matrixed environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of manufacturing operations experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience in medical device manufacturing or related field.
• Knowledge of lean principles and 5S.
• Ability to work in a highly matrixed, diverse environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high visibility with production staff and involve them in problem solving.
• Develop a high-performance team with strong morale and performance.
• Create a respectful work environment and address unacceptable behavior.
• Provide coaching and performance feedback to staff.
• Review production schedules and resolve issues to meet schedules.
• Ensure product quality through standard work and training.
• Support lean initiatives and customer-focused process improvements.
• Provide training to improve standard work and housekeeping.
