  • Basic to intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office and web-based systems.
  • Ability to work occasional off-shifts and weekends as business needs require.

Pay: $23.00–$25.00 per hour, based on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Leader to oversee daily site operations and provide leadership, direction, and support to Quality Inspectors and site personnel.

The Senior Site Leader is responsible for maintaining a safe, organized, and productive work environment while ensuring quality standards, customer requirements, and company procedures are consistently followed. This position will coordinate staffing and quality activities, support customer relationships, train and validate inspectors, monitor team performance, and help resolve quality and workflow issues.

This is primarily a first-shift position, with occasional off-shift and weekend work required to support operations and ensure consistent coverage across the site.

Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Site Operations
  • Lead, support, coach, and provide direction to Site personnel and Quality Inspectors.
  • Oversee daily site operations and ensure quality activities are properly staffed and executed.
  • Set up and supervise daily quality missions, inspection activities, and staffing requirements.
  • Coordinate changes to work assignments, processes, inspection criteria, and customer requirements.
  • Provide leadership coverage and operational support across shifts as needed.
  • Maintain a positive, professional, and productive work environment.
  • Monitor employee attendance, performance, and timekeeping.
  • Partner with Human Resources to address attendance, performance, and employee-related concerns.

Quality Control & Inspection
  • Train, coach, and validate Quality Inspectors to ensure established processes are followed.
  • Perform visual, mechanical, and functional quality inspections as required.
  • Identify, isolate, tag, and verify nonconforming material.
  • Conduct ongoing quality audits to verify compliance with quality standards and customer requirements.
  • Evaluate quality concerns and use independent judgment to determine appropriate actions.
  • Troubleshoot and help resolve quality, process, production, and workflow issues.
  • Step in and perform inspection duties when necessary to support site operations.
  • Communicate quality issues and nonconformances to appropriate site and company leadership.
  • Help ensure inspection processes are accurate, consistent, and properly documented.
Customer & Team Communication
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers and site personnel.
  • Communicate regularly with customers, employees, supervisors, and company leadership.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer and operational concerns.
  • Communicate changes in requirements, processes, work instructions, and assignments to the site team.
  • Facilitate effective communication between workgroups and shifts.
Documentation & Reporting
  • Complete daily system entries, quality reports, audits, and required documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records related to inspections, staffing, quality activities, and site operations.
  • Navigate company and customer websites, web-based portals, and electronic systems.
  • Create, update, and maintain electronic work instructions.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in quality control, quality assurance, manufacturing, production, inspection, or a related field.
  • Previous leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience leading or supporting quality inspection teams is a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to make independent decisions and exercise sound judgment when addressing quality concerns.
  • Ability to train, coach, and motivate employees.
  • Basic to intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office and web-based systems.
  • Ability to accurately complete reports, audits, timekeeping, and other required documentation.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Ability to work occasional off-shifts and weekends as business needs require.
