Job summary

Walmart in Apple Valley, CA is seeking a Senior Manager II, Site Engineer – Supply Chain to lead site-level operational excellence. You will partner with DC leadership to drive end-to-end improvements, guide Process Quality Engineers, and apply advanced CI methods to eliminate losses while reinforcing Walmart Performance System (WPS) and Daily Management System (DMS).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field and 4 years’ experience in Continuous Improvement or 6 years in Engineering/CI
• 4 years’ experience leading teams
• Knowledge and application of a functioning Quality Management System elements (e.g., SPC, FMEA, KPIs)
• Demonstrated project ownership resulting in sustainable, long-term savings
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

• Build strategic partnerships with site leadership to drive end-to-end site improvements
• Manage and prioritize Process Quality Engineer workloads to balance initiatives with site needs
• Apply continuous improvement tools (RCA, time & motion, SPC, 5S, Six Sigma) to eliminate losses and sustain gains
• Support WPS effectiveness by engaging leaders and strengthening problem-solving capability
• Lead DMS review-and-response routines through root cause analysis and countermeasures
• Partner in One Best Way standard implementation and deviation processes
• Drive execution of multiple business plans by prioritizing, removing barriers, and measuring progress
• Coach and develop associates with strong performance expectations and recognition
• Evaluate plan effectiveness and improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness through data
