Job summary

Amazon Inc. seeks a Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) Manager to lead a comprehensive safety program at our Phoenix site. You’ll drive safety culture, partner with Operations, and transform data into actions that protect teammates while sustaining productivity.

You will build a high-performing WHS team, perform risk assessments, and ensure compliance across manufacturing and distribution environments. Strong leadership, communication, and Lean experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years of increasing responsibilities in EHS and/or environmental programs in manufacturing, production, or service operations.
• 5+ years of increasing responsibilities in people and performance management.
• Experience with DC or manufacturing EHS at sites with 250+ people preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a comprehensive WHS program across operations.
• Partner with Operations leadership to integrate safety into daily operations.
• Lead risk assessments and develop data-driven safety strategies.
• Build and develop a high-performing WHS team.
• Conduct site audits and address non-compliance.
