Job summary

NV5 is seeking a full-time Civil Engineering Project Manager for our Cary, NC office. The PM will provide technical expertise and project management for site/civil design projects from concept through construction, ensuring schedule and budget compliance.

Requirements include a BS in Civil Engineering, NC PE license, 5+ years of CV PM experience, and 10+ years in site/civil design. Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D or MicroStation is expected, with LEED experience a plus.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Civil Engineering.
• NC PE license.
• 5+ years of civil engineering PM experience on similar projects.
• 10+ years of site/civil design experience.
• Experience with commercial, institutional, healthcare, residential, and/or educational sites.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or MicroStation; Water CAD and stormwater modeling software.

Responsibilities

• Manage project engineering and production on assigned projects.
• Supervise and mentor staff in design and plan production.
• Perform engineering design and detailing.
• Handle permitting tasks to keep projects on track.
• Sign and seal calculations, specs, and plans.
• Ensure QA/QC reviews on projects.
