Job summary

Robert G. Campbell and Associates seeks a Site Civil Project Engineer to join its Charleston/Beaufort/Bluffton team. You will design residential, commercial, and industrial sites, work with clients and regulatory agencies, and lead CAD/BIM tasks while mentoring staff.

Strong CAD and stormwater skills are essential, with PE licensure preferred. The role emphasizes independent work, multiple project handling, and collaboration with private and public clients to deliver compliant, cost-effective

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering or related discipline from ABET-accredited program.
• Minimum 5 years of experience and PE licensure (SC/NC/TN or reciprocity).
• Proficiency in Civil Engineering design principles and stormwater modeling.

Responsibilities

• Produce designs for residential, commercial, and industrial sites.
• Coordinate with private and local government clients to meet site development needs.
• Maintain CAD standards and file systems.
• Provide turnkey services with site, survey, and inspection staff.
• Obtain approvals from regulatory agencies; manage RFI responses and shop drawing reviews.
• Assist in quality control and mentor staff to grow the team.
