Job summary

Robert G. Campbell and Associates in Wilmington, NC is seeking a Land Development / Site Civil Project Engineer to join our site design team.

You will work on residential, commercial and industrial sites, collaborating with clients to navigate regulatory and site challenges from concept to completion. The ideal candidate has a BS in Civil Engineering, 5+ years of experience and PE licensure, with proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Carlson, and HydroCAD.

Qualifications

• Minimum BS in Civil Engineering or ABET-accredited equivalent.
• 5+ years of site development experience and PE licensure.
• Proficient in CAD-based design and hydrostormwater modeling.
• Experience with HydroCAD and topographic surveys.
• Strong communication and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Ability to work onsite in Wilmington, NC with regulatory coordination.

Responsibilities

• Produce designs for residential, commercial and industrial sites with the team.
• Collaborate with private and local government clients to meet site needs.
• Maintain Department CAD standards and file systems.
• Provide turn-key project support with site, survey, and inspection staff.
• Obtain approvals from regulatory agencies.
• Supervise construction administration activities and respond to RFIs.
• Support quality control throughout the project.
• Recruit and mentor staff to grow the site development team.
