Mead & Hunt, Inc., a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, has an on‑call position available for a senior site construction manager. Responsibilities include leading construction administration activities for multi‑discipline construction projects in accordance with the project contract and schedule; conducting daily construction inspections to ensure proper installation of equipment; managing the flow of project communications—including submittals, RFIs, and supplemental instructions; ensuring safety standards are being followed; and creating daily construction reports.
Travel to construction sites is an essential function of this position; a valid driver’s license is required. Hours for this position could vary from zero to 40, and potentially sometimes more than 40.
The successful candidate must have a combination of education and/or experience totaling eight years of relevant experience. Any of the following is acceptable: an associate degree in construction management, engineering, or a related discipline plus six years of experience; a bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related discipline plus four years of experience; or no degree plus eight years of experience.
