Job summary

Ericsson Inc. in Plano, Texas seeks a Site Acquisition Manager III to lead entitlement and pre-construction activities across markets. You will manage site acquisition teams, leasing, zoning, and permitting, coordinating with MLA partners and tower companies to deliver projects on time.

The role requires 12+ years in telecommunications site acquisition, strong negotiation skills, and solid knowledge of real estate practices. A bachelor’s degree and travel willingness are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Planning, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in telecommunications site acquisition.
• Proven track record managing diverse site acquisition deployments.
• Extensive experience with MLA partners and tower companies.
• Strong negotiation skills and expertise in contract language review.
• Deep knowledge of real estate practices, telecommunications construction processes, and LTE network design fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Advise on long- and short-term site acquisition strategies across markets, regions, and disciplines.
• Provide level-of-effort estimates during pre-sales and early project phases to support budget development.
• Lead weekly deployment calls and deliver detailed site status reports to customers and project management.
• Manage leasing, landlord consent, zoning, and permitting activities end-to-end.
• Oversee A&E firms in producing lease exhibits, zoning drawings, and construction drawings.
• Obtain regulatory approvals (NEPA, SHPO, Phase 1) and manage the Notice to Proceed process.
• Identify project risks and communicate mitigation strategies to the Project Manager and customer.
• Assess service provider performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain accurate records in databases and ensure quality audit compliance.
