Job summary

Ericsson US is seeking a Site Acquisition Manager III in Plano, TX. This senior role leads entitlement and pre-construction decisions, mentors site acquisition teams and service providers, and oversees real estate, zoning, and permitting to deliver projects on time.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree and 12+ years in telecommunications site acquisition, with strong negotiation and budget-management skills. Travel as needed; annual bonus eligibility may apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Planning, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in telecommunications site acquisition.
• Proven track record managing diverse site acquisition deployments.
• Deep knowledge of real estate practices, zoning, permitting; strong negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Advise on long- and short-term site acquisition strategies across markets, regions, and disciplines.
• Provide level-of-effort estimates during pre-sales and early project phases to support budget development.
• Lead weekly deployment calls and deliver detailed site status reports to customers and project management.
• Manage leasing, landlord consent, zoning, and permitting activities end-to-end.
• Oversee A&E firms in producing lease exhibits, zoning drawings, and construction drawings.
• Obtain regulatory approvals (NEPA, SHPO, Phase 1, etc.) and manage the Notice to Proceed process.
• Identify project risks and communicate mitigation strategies to the Project Manager and customer.
• Assess service provider performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain accurate records in applicable databases of record and ensure quality audit compliance.
