Job summary

Blackbaud is seeking a Senior Solutions Consultant with deep SIS expertise to help higher education institutions modernize the student lifecycle. You will guide discovery, validation, and solution evaluation, focusing on SIS, Financial Aid, and Student Accounts while collaborating with Sales and Product teams.

You’ll work with colleges and universities to demonstrate modern technology, automation, and AI capabilities, supporting implementation and change management to improve student outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Higher Education SIS experience.
• Experience with admissions, enrollment, registrar ops, and student services.
• Experience supporting Higher Education technology solutions.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
• Experience in consulting, implementation, solutions consulting, or sales engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery conversations with stakeholders across admissions, enrollment, registrar operations.
• Design and lead validation experiences for business, operational, and technical fit.
• Deliver demonstrations, workshops, and proof scenarios aligned to customer priorities.
• Advise customers on SIS modernization, process improvement, payment processing, integrations, reporting.
• Help customers understand how automation and emerging AI capabilities can support institutional effectiveness.
• Support RFPs, technical evaluations, proof-of-concept activities, and executive presentations.
• Partner closely with Student First and internal Blackbaud teams to deliver successful customer outcomes.
• Create reusable demo experience assets, enablement resources, and best practices that help scale Blackbaud's SIS expertise.
