Job summary

The Operational Planning Manager at Edlon in Avondale, PA, leads the Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning process, aligning demand, engineering resources, material availability, and capacity with business goals.

You will coordinate cross-functionally with Sales, Engineering, Operations, Procurement, Finance and Leadership to identify capacity constraints, develop dashboards, and drive actions to support profitable growth while meeting customer commitments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Engineering, Business, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline required.
• 7–15 years of experience in supply chain, operations, planning, scheduling, procurement, manufacturing, or related leadership roles.
• Experience leading SIOP, Sales & Operations Planning, Integrated Business Planning, Master Scheduling, or Capacity Planning processes.
• Experience working across Engineering, Procurement, Operations, and Sales organizations.
• Strong analytical and business planning experience.
• ERP and business intelligence tool experience required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and own the Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) process and ensure alignment between demand, engineering workload, material availability, and capacity.
• Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, Operations, Procurement, Finance, and Leadership to identify capacity constraints and supply chain risks before they impact performance.
• Develop capacity forecasts, dashboards, and reporting cadence to support leadership decisions.
• Monitor KPI metrics such as forecast accuracy, capacity utilization, and inventory health; drive actions to improve performance.
• Maintain executable production schedules and ensure resource readiness across projects.
• Identify and implement improvements to planning processes and cross-functional collaboration.
