Job summary

Aalyria Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer focusing on Simulation Systems to advance Spacetime's core capabilities for planning and operating complex networks across space and time.

You will work across the full stack, building scalable simulation tools and integrating them into product workflows. This role emphasizes distributed systems, large-scale computation, and simulation modeling.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Golang, C/C++, or Java.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of experience designing and developing production software systems.
• Strong fundamentals: system design, algorithms, testing, and debugging.
• Experience with distributed, data-intensive backend systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and build simulation and planning capabilities for exploring hypothetical network scenarios.
• Enable users to vary network configurations, conditions, and assumptions and evaluate their potential effects.
• Build tools for comparing scenarios, understanding tradeoffs, and identifying risks and opportunities before changes are made.
• Develop scalable, reliable systems for managing and evaluating complex scenarios.
• Collaborate across Product Engineering to integrate simulation and planning into broader product workflows.
