Aalyria Technologies, Inc. is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to advance optimization and scheduling for complex network-resource problems within the Spacetime engineering team.

You will design, develop, test, and maintain core software, collaborating with seasoned engineers from top-tier tech companies, to solve challenging engineering problems and scale solutions across aerospace domains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of experience designing and developing production software systems.
• Strong fundamentals in algorithms, data structures, software design, testing, and debugging.
• Experience building algorithmically complex, computationally intensive, or performance-sensitive software.
• Proficiency in Golang, C/C++, Rust, or Java.

Responsibilities

• Design and build high-performance optimization and scheduling systems for complex network-resource allocation problems.
• Translate complex product and network requirements into effective computational models.
• Improve solution quality, runtime, scalability, and explainability as problem complexity grows.
• Evolve solver architecture to improve scalability, robustness, and reliability under increasing system complexity and load.
