Job summary

CoLab is building a new simulation-focused product team to make simulation reviews as collaborative and traceable as CAD reviews today. You will be among the first engineers on the team, shaping ingestion, visualization, and the end-to-end user experience for aerospace-grade engineering data.

As a senior software engineer, you’ll own complex backend design, collaborate with product and customers, and help scale an analytics platform that handles large datasets and high-performance rendering.

Qualifications

• 8+ years building production software in a modern engineering environment.
• Strong experience designing scalable backend systems and customer-facing apps.
• Experience with data visualization or graphics-intensive applications.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with teammates.
• Product mindset focused on customer outcomes.
• Experience with CAD, PLM, or engineering software development.

Responsibilities

• Help design and build CoLab's next-generation simulation review capabilities.
• Build services that ingest and process simulation data from industry-standard software.
• Develop high-performance visualization experiences for large datasets.
• Partner with Product, Design, and customers to validate ideas before building.
• Spend time embedded with the Engineering Reviews team to understand customers.
• Contribute to architectural decisions shaping this product area.
• Improve performance, scalability, and reliability as capabilities grow.
• Collaborate with engineers across the platform to integrate simulation into CoLab.
