Job summary

Boeing seeks a Lead Simulation Software Engineer to lead design, architecture and development of simulation models for the Air Dominance program, based in Berkeley, MO. You will serve as a SME for Flight Simulation | Labs products and guide multiple scrum teams to deliver high-quality simulation capabilities.

The role requires 7+ years in simulation software, leadership experience and active security clearances.

Qualifications

US citizenship required and ability to obtain US security clearance.
Ability to access SAP.
Bachelor Degree.
7+ years of experience in developing simulation-related software.
7+ years of experience programming in C, C++, or C#.
5+ years of hardware/software integration or testing, preferably in a lab.
3+ years of leading a software development team through full life cycle.

Responsibilities

Lead engineering activities: architecture, requirements, designs, testing and integration.
Approve software development plan and major components with program architects.
Ensure architecture, interfaces and designs for models and frameworks.
Coordinate with FSL hardware teams for first-time quality in simulations.
Lead customer input collection and prioritize needs across scrum teams.
Mentor and train others in best practices and engineering excellence.
Provide technical leadership across multidisciplinary teams.
Perform design reviews to ensure software quality and consistency.
