Job summary

Boeing in Daytona Beach, FL seeks a Flight Simulation Software Engineer at Associate, Experienced, and Senior levels to join the Flight Simulation I Labs team. This role focuses on software for tools and models in our simulation infrastructure supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security business.

The position involves developing core simulation infrastructure, tools to monitor and control digital messages, and modeling aircraft capabilities for lab testing and training efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 2+ years programming in C++.
• 2+ years of experience as a Software Engineer.
• Experience with modeling and simulation and/or defense/avionics is preferred.
• Ability to obtain U.S. Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develops, documents and maintains architecture, requirements, algorithms and designs for simulation software systems.
• Develops and maintains code and integrates software components into a fully functional system.
• Builds simulation environments to support testing by Mission Systems engineers.
• Collaborates on an agile team to achieve goals.
• Executes and documents software R&D projects.
