Job summary

Apple Inc. is seeking a senior design engineer in Boulder, CO to drive technical engagements between Apple and silicon/IP suppliers.

The role covers all phases from micro-architecture through post-silicon validation and qualification, with a focus on SOC implementation and complex IC development. You will lead verification and qualification efforts across internal and external teams, and steer data-driven decisions by distilling key findings for executive audiences.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or related field with extensive IC design experience.
• Proven experience in integrated circuit design and design automation tools.
• Hands-on SOC implementation with frontend and backend digital tool suites (place-and-route, synthesis, verification).
• Strong communication and program management skills, with ability to coordinate multi-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Be a member of a team driving technical exchanges with Architecture, Design Methodology, Hardware Design, Software Design and Implementation, Product and Test, and Reliability Engineering.
• Lead hardware and software verification, validation, and qualification activities between Apple internal teams and suppliers, ensuring timely completion.
• Distill and present critical data from internal and external partners to enable data-driven decisions.
