Job summary

Apple Inc. in Beaverton, Oregon is seeking a senior design engineer to drive silicon development efforts and lead technical engagements with IP suppliers.

You will oversee front-to-back IC design activities, verification, qualification and data-driven decisions across cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑volume manufacturing readiness.

The role requires deep experience with ASIC/IP development, strong communication, and proven leadership in fast-paced projects.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or related field and 20+ years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience in integrated circuit design and design automation tools.
• SOC Implementation Skills with hands-on experience in front-end and back-end digital tool suites (place & route, synthesis, design verification).

Responsibilities

• Be a member of a team driving technical exchanges with Architecture, Design Methodology, Hardware Design, Software Design and Implementation, Product and Test, and Reliability Engineering.
• Lead hardware and software verification, validation, and qualification activities between Apple internal teams and suppliers, ensuring on-schedule completion.
• Filter and distill critical data from internal and external partners into information for data-driven decisions.
