Amazon seeks a Principal Technical Sourcing Manager to lead silicon sourcing and related project execution for networking components. You will drive cost optimization, risk management, and supplier relationships across engineering, procurement, and legal teams.

You will influence manufacturing processes and develop lifecycle cost models while aligning with product roadmaps and data center expansion goals. This role requires strong collaboration across global teams and travel to supplier sites.

Qualifications

• Strong technical understanding of silicon component technology and semiconductor manufacturing.
• Analytical and negotiation skills; able to model costs and drive sourcing strategies.
• Willingness to travel ~20% to engage with suppliers and partners.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for silicon components.

• Analyze spending patterns and market trends to uncover cost-saving opportunities.
• Serve as technical liaison between procurement and engineering teams.
