Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Global Supply Manager in Cupertino to own end-to-end supply planning for networking silicon. You will partner with cross-functional teams to align demand, capacity, and supplier commitments while driving risk reduction and cost efficiency.

Your role includes analyzing trends, leading supplier improvements, and delivering predictable supply for high-demand cloud infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related technical field
• Experience in procurement, supply chain, inventory management, contract management, lease administration or operations
• Experience in strategic sourcing including vendor negotiations, global contract management, process improvement, operational and financial analysis
• Experience with data analysis tools such as Advanced Excel, SQL, Tableau, Python
• Experience in global supply chain management, managing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced consumer electronics product company

Responsibilities

• Create and execute supply planning strategies to meet the category, department, project and customer needs
• Prioritize activities and align with stakeholders to deliver supply globally with a high degree of predictability
• Manage supplier relationships and allocation of material to demands based on priority
• Be a subject matter expert for the customers, technologies, and markets in which you engage
• Manage cross-functional projects against plans and objectives to meet commitments and goals
• Identify and drive realization of opportunities for durable, relative advantage in your category
• Analyze industry trends and evolving technology to proactively identify supply base opportunities to minimize risk
• Identify and pursue opportunities to leverage and consolidate the supply base using system level tools and techniques
• Understand forecasting, demand planning, material/supply/inventory planning, and manufacturing processes/capacity to verify supply commitments
• Manage supply buffers and allocation to shorten lead times and build resiliency into the supply chain without driving excess
• Drive supplier improvement initiatives to continually lower risk and reduce lead times
• Influence suppliers' manufacturing processes, technology decisions, and policies in ways that are mutually beneficial and sustainable
• Create and send monthly forecasts, and measure supplier commitments against demand
