Job summary

Amazon Leo is seeking a Senior Silicon Reliability Engineer to conceive, design, and manufacture semiconductor solutions for Kuiper's satellite and ground terminal products. You will collaborate with PE, TE, systems teams and foundry partners to drive qualification plans and reliability strategies.

You will review specs, develop burn‑in and qualification tests for SoC and multi‑chip modules, and publish detailed reports for partners.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
7+ years of experience in semiconductor product engineering or foundry process operations, preferably in high‑volume wireless SoC devices manufacturing.
Up to 20% domestic or international travel required.
Excellent oral and written communications skills.

Responsibilities

Review specs and define qualification plans with PE, TE, & systems team.
Collaborate with packaging team on design, configuration and BoM choices; incorporate product-package considerations.
Develop & execute de-risking rel strategies to address technology risks for product qualification.
Design and fabricate burn‑in boards for SoC and MCM product qualification.
Publish detailed qualification report documenting completion of qual for upstream and downstream partners.
Engage with test, packaging and product engineers in qual test program development and review of ATE readouts.
