Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Silicon Reliability Engineer to lead qualification strategies for custom ASICs and multi-chip modules. You will design burn-in hardware, define stress tests, and collaborate with packaging and design teams to ensure reliable product qualification for Kuiper’s satellite and ground terminal systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
7+ years of experience in semiconductor product engineering or foundry process operations.
Willingness to travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

Own qual plan development and qualification for custom ASICs.
Design, and debug qual hardware.
Determine conditions, activation cycles and settings for qual execution.
Debug failures from qual stresses.
Publish final qual report upon completion of qual.
Engage with packaging team to define packaging-related qualification considerations.
Make system-level rel assessment from mission profile and qual results to system team.
