Job summary

Amazon Kuiper is seeking a Senior Silicon Reliability Engineer to lead qualification of custom ASICs and multi-chip modules for satellite and ground terminal products. You will own qualification plans and work with packaging, design, and test teams to ensure robust reliability and manufacturability.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required.
• 7+ years in semiconductor product engineering or foundry process operations.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% domestically or internationally.

Responsibilities

• Own qual plan development and qualification for custom ASICs.
• Design, and debug qual hardware.
• Determine conditions, activation cycles and settings for qual execution.
• Debug failures from qual stresses.
• Publish final qual report upon completion of qual.
• Engage with packaging team to define packaging-related qualification considerations.
• Make system-level rel assessment from mission profile and qual results to system team.
