Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC seeks a Senior Semiconductor Product Engineer to lead design, qualification, and production of advanced semiconductor solutions for Leo’s satellite and ground terminal products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to drive characterization, test plans, and manufacturability from concept to release.

The role focuses on de-risking, ATE-bench correlation, and RF/SerDes testing expertise, with travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Communications Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years in semiconductor product engineering or foundry process operations.
• Knowledge of RF product development and characterization.
• Experience with digital and Serdes testing.
• Proficiency in statistics, data analysis and YMS tools such as Exensio and JMP.

Responsibilities

• Review system specs and define stage-gate criteria with TE.
• Collaborate on package design, BoM choices and char plans.
• Develop de-risking strategies for technology risks in product development.
• Drive test program reviews and define test coverage for production
• Analyze bench-ATE correlation data and align to golden bench results.
• Publish qualification and release documentation for production.
