Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to help design and build manufacturing software for satellites, ground equipment, and ASICs. You will work across software, hardware, RF, and embedded domains to orchestrate production lines and ensure secure, scalable systems.

You will collaborate with manufacturing and product engineering teams to deliver end-to-end capabilities for satellite manufacturing orchestration and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language.
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture of new and existing systems.
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build software and standardized manufacturing test stations for satellites.
• Develop software infrastructure to support test case execution.
• Architect and build automation to support development (CI/CD).
• Align with stakeholders on software requirements and document them.
• Deliver end-user documentation and enable data collection/analysis.
• Own and execute software quality and release processes.
• Collaborate with satellite component teams on secure manufacturing software.
